Roni Yacobovitz

A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Additional training at the Stela Adler Conservatory and HB Studios, also in New York. Studied Meisner technique under directors Scott Williams and Tom Radclife, both based in London. 
Roles include Inez in Sartre's "No Exit" (New York), Simonne in Peter Weiss' "Marat/Sade" (New York), Katharine in Shakespeare's Henry V (Jerusalem), Lynette Fromme in Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins" (Tel Aviv), various Shakespearean male characters in "Witching, Wailing and Wooing" (New York), various Shakesperean female characters in "Battle Between the Sexes" (Jerusalem).
Roni played lead roles in over 15 different productions in Israel, including musical theatre, classics and original plays. She also played several supporting roles in various productions of the independent opera group "Opera Camera", including Francis Poulenc's "La Voix humane", Josef Bardanshvilli's "Eve" and Abel Ehrlich's "Ha'Yovel". 
Roni taught theatre and acting at the American Acting Center in Ramat Gan and at "Emunah" college in Jerusalem. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2021 Independent Theatre Awards in Israel. A member of the Israeli Actors' Studio led by actor and director Oded Kotler
